LOTE4Kids is an online database of children’s picture books in various World Languages to help libraries, schools, and healthcare businesses engage culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) families in their communities.

Using partnerships with international book publishers and professional translators they curated a language collection to meet the needs of users who speak a language other than English (LOTE) at home.

LOTE4Kids believes all children should have the opportunity to enjoy books and learn language through the magic of storytelling.

LOTE4Kids is for kids! Children under the age of 16 years old or applicable age outside of the USA, need consent from an adult or guardian to use the site.

LOTE4Kids is available through PC browsers and mobile Apps (iOS and Android) for kids to enjoy at home or on the go.

Begin by searching for your Library or School.

Log in with your library card.

Select the language or story you would like to read or listen to.

Each picture book has both a language other than English and an English version.

LOTE4Kids’ Terms of Service (ToS) was last updated in June 2021. This end user license agreement is a summary of your key rights and obligations. Creating an agreement between you and the creators of LOTE4Kids (Storytime PODs Pty Ltd).

By clicking the ‘I accept’ button or otherwise accessing or using the Platform, you agree that you have read, understood and will be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with the terms of their ToS, you much not access or use the Platform.
